I’m so impressed with my truck performance after Terry at precision transmission rebuilt my transmission. My gmc shifts before I can get going down the road. My truck came with updates which precision put two more gears in my transmission. I truly trust these guys and recommend any that needs dependable honest and professional work look no further nor no reason to shop around. Precision transmission is the only place I will go for my transmission. I also got a two year warranty. Family owned and operated business.
My Toyota Tacoma had a previous “bad clutch job” done to it. Precision Transmission were very professional and did a great job!
I was very pleased with the work Precision did on my Geo Metro . Being an odd-ball car, no longer in production several well-known shops in the area were not interested in helping me or quoted very high prices without even seeing my car . Precision quickly got back to me with 2 quotes – one for a full rebuild and a second to replace needed parts only clearly explaining the choices . My car also required a control module which GM no longer makes , but they looked for salvage parts and found a shop in S. Fla to rebuild mine . They overnighted the part and had me back on the road within 3 days at the price quoted , Now my little bug is back on the road . I also noted several classic cars waiting at Precision after having their transmission worked on by other shops in the area . Precision are car people that you can depend on .
We have a BMW 2011 335d with around 60k mi and noticed a few unusual shifts (1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd over a week or so) and were up in Orlando for a CME conference. I looked all around for a transmission shop i could trust for an expert evaluation. This shop (with it’s history) caught my eye. I drove over from Orlando and they drove the car, ran computer diagnostics (everything checked out as PERFECT) and said they would recommend not touching it since it appeared to perform perfectly. Since the transmission has computer memory (slow learn as to shifting patterns) the anomalies were probably due to my more exuberant driving style compared to my wife (an MD) who usually drives it. When we get to the 100/120k mi point (or any real problem) i know where i’m going to take it!
